Excavator or skid-steer: which does your job need?

Use the wrong machine and a job takes twice as long. Here is the simple version of when each one shines.

Excavator

Best for digging deep, dams, trenches, site cuts, footings and anything that needs reach and grunt. If you are moving a lot of earth or digging down, this is the machine.

Skid-steer (bobcat)

Best for moving material around, levelling, spreading gravel, tight access and finishing work. Nimble and quick on the surface.

Most jobs want both

A typical site cut or driveway uses the excavator to do the heavy moving and the skid-steer to level and tidy. We bring the right gear for the job so you are not paying for wasted time.
